Monroe High School Track & Field boasts a long standing tradition of academic and athletic excellence. We’ve gotten used to success, but understand that it only comes through hard work. We seek self-motivated student-athletes; those with the will to be the best that they can be in the classroom, on the track and in the field. We are grateful for your interest in our program and excited to provide an opportunity for continued excellence.
Indoor Track is our winter conditioning program for the MHS Track & Field Team. We encourage all varsity level athletes who are not playing a winter sport to participate. It is a voluntary commitment. Once you have committed to the program, we expect you to follow our guidelines and report with regularity.
Before you may begin conditioning with the MHS TRACK & FIELD TEAM, you must have a current physical exam on file with the MHS Athletic Department.
Please understand that Indoor Track is not an official MHS sport. It is a winter conditioning opportunity afforded to MHS Track & Field athletes and is not directly connected with the Michigan Indoor Track Series. Athletes participating must adhere to following guidelines.
  • Arrive promptly at 2:30 ready to begin.
  • Attend at least 3 sessions per week.
  • Use the weight room, pool, equipment and plyometric boxes only under direct coach supervision.
  • Stay in upper A and C wings during steady runs and workouts.
  • Represent the program with integrity (No swearing, yelling, horse play, spitting or any other inappropriate behaviors while in the hallways, pool / natatorium and / or weight room)
