Boys Trojan Track & Field 2016 - Week 11

TEAM STATE INFORMATION

  • Tuesday - Full team practice 2:30 - 5:00
  • Wednesday - practice from 2:30 - 4:00 - only for freshman and those competing at Team State Meet
  • Thursday- practice 2:30 - 4:00 - only for those competing at Team State Meet
  • Dundee Freshman Meet
    • Bus @ 2:30 
    • Field Events - 4:00 PM
    • Running Events - 5:30 PM
      • All events except for 4x800 & 4x200
      • Medals to top 6 in each event
  • Friday - Practice 2:30 - 4;00 only for those competing at Team State Meet
  • Saturday- MITCA Team State Meet- Jenison High School 
    • Bus @ 5:50 AM
    • 9:00 Pole vault for locations with 1 pit (D1, D2, and D4) 
    • 10:00 Boy’s & Girls HJ (2pits@D1) Boy’s & Girls pole vault (2 pits@D3 only) Boy’s & Girls long jump (2 pits@D1/D4) One High Jump Pit (D2/D3/D4) All field events in normal order if only one pit or area available. (The second session of a field event will begin 30 minutes after completion of the first session) 
    • 11:00 3200 Relay—Boys and then Girls 
    • 11:30 Parade of Athletes 
    • 12:00 All finals beginning with the High Hurdles.  



Tuesday - uniform return for all non-state qualifiers.
I'm without my laptop, so this update might look a bit different.

Great job on Friday.  I'm proud of this team and its efforts.  We came up a bit short of our goal, but performed very well.  We finished 3rd in the meet and dropped to 3rd overall for the season.
Congratulations to our All Conference athletes:
Sam Green finished as conference champ in the discus.
Tyson Grant won the 110 Hurdles and finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles.
Fisher Blackmore was 2nd in the pole vault.
Donovan Isaac finished 2nd in both the 100 & 200.
Noah Dawn was 3rd in the 1600.
Avery Williams was 3rd in the 300 hurdles.

Hunter Kinsey finished 3rd in the shot put.
